1.8 "Mix Mode" for Groups: what's the point?

The 1.8 firmware release notes talks about additional IEM stereo mixes (and when Group 1/2 is switched to “Mix mode” it indeed shows up as a Mix source in Qu-You), but I’m not really grasping the point of doing this.

Can someone walk me through a scenario where you’d use this with IEMs?

Doh. Just realized there are indeed XLR Group outs. Need to look at the back of the unit once in a while and not just the purdy touch display. :slight_smile:
