36 mix bus?

Hi everyone i’m waiting for my new SQ5.
Why 36 mix bus?

12 Stereo Mixes (group or aux) 24
1 Main Mix (Stereo) +2
4 FX Sends +4
2 Stereo Matrix +4
1 PAFL Stereo +2

But you can’t use the 12 stereo mix as mono aux…

Hi !
AUX and Groups can be set to mono or stereo in the “mixer config” page.
You can see that and have more informations in the SQ reference guide v1.0.1 page 46.

Anyway you slice it it doesn’t make sense except this configuration.

The PAFL is 2x more, not sure it counts.

And the groups & auxes can be switched between mono/stereo BUT!! it does not give you more auxes (mixes) you are effectively disabling pan and the right channel in the stereo mix (aux) when switching it to mono.

They obviously can and should add this functionality, but… GLD.
