About Xone 96's compatibility with Linux

Hello,

I am making this post since I have been considering for a long time purchasing the Xone 96, which is advertised as being USB class compliant, a standard supposed to be compatible with Linux.

The thing is that although in paper it should work, I have investigated here (the MIXXX DJ software in-depth hardware compatibility’s website) and found that the Xone 43C was not recognized properly: not all channels were being displayed. I don’t know whether or not this is outdated, or if it would be different for the Xone 96.

I would like to know if the more tech savy users out here know if this would be an unsurmountable difficulty or if, by contrast, a solution to this issue could be achievable. Please do note that I do not know if it is an issue with this model so if anyone could verify it, it would be very much highly appreciated, although I am conscious that this specific user case might be extremely niche. I have not been able to find anyone out there succeeding (or even talking) in this task.

Also a question to A&H employees, if anyone is reading this: considering the device is advertised as being USB class compliant, do you specifically provide technical support for Linux users or is it just a dream of mine?

To anyone participating, thank you in advance.
