Actions: Soft Key On/Off Light

I have a soft key setup for an action to turn on/off all Source Expanders for my vocal channels. The problem is the light for that soft key disappears after I press it, so I have to navigate to to my input page to check whether its on or off.
It would be good to have the option of setting that light to be static when engaged, and off when disengaged.

Is the softkey mode set to toggle or recall?

Toggle should make it stay illuminated (either blue or purple… I really wish we could customize that), but you’ll have to have two actions — one for engaging and one for disengaging.

I think the key here in the OP’s question is all Source Expanders. For a single channel, the softkey will display the state. But the dLive softkey logic is not sophisticated enough to keep the LED properly updated based on multiple channels.

Ahh I see you can add a toggle function for two actions on a single soft key. That basically solves the issue, and I can get used to blue being on, and purple being off.

I love the 2.0 addition of action buttons!

I use toggle on softkeys for many different toggle situations. One example being to set the stream mix to come from FOH or an X32 in another room.

The issue I run into is definitely at startup the softkey in toggle action mode will glow the wrong color at times making me think I am in the correct mode but really am not. If I press the softkey once it usually gets back into the correct state.

Possible solution:

  1. It would be great to change the color of the button as part of the defined action
  2. Trigger the softkey button status based off of actual state of a mute or a particular setting so the feedback can be true to state
