I have a nice audient 8 preamp 1u rack
I think they sound better than the qu preamps
It has ADAT out
Does it exists a unit box converter to convert from ADAT to DSNAKE?
This way I can use 8 more tracks on my little QU-PAC

Maybe A&H can create one,
Or a simple DSNAKE to Analog I/O box, without preamps, so it cost less than actual boxes
the actual boxes are very cheap already…
AB168 around 1000 € and AR2412 goes the same direction
Yes they are well priced, but since I already have very good preamps and converters, i would prefer to use them and buy a little converter for 100€ (that does not exists yet 
)
Or maybe add an adat input to their AR84
One word why they aren’t likely to… clocking
I think we can share the clock within the ADAT stream
mmm… as the preamp has only ADAT OUT , then I don’t think the QU clock will depend on the adat clock
So this converter need to have a ADAT IN and a BNC clock OUT
