I just got one for each of my QUs, and want to say they are great! VERY well built, so I hearily recommend them. Good work Dan!

And I don’t know Dan other than from his work…

Lou

thanks Lou!

it is inconceivable (The Princess Bride) that Neutrik or anyone else for that matter doesn’t
make one.

Have fun!!!

Everyone that has purchased the adaptor is very happy.

I’ll testify! The adaptor is very rugged, and holds an 18" AT gooeneck mic for me very nicely!

thanks Lou!

Dan,

Nicely done.

thanks John, I guess Neutrik and Switchcraft assumes nobody would need a male to female right angle adaptor.

Completely off the wall, but does noone else use a radio mic? I grab an old VHF lapel mic - works well enough (although I normally pop it into a channel, since there is no talkback control on QuPad)

it would be nice if the iPad’s mic could be used as a talkback, but … NOPE.

Most sound folks I have encountered use an old junky SM58 and plug it in to the talkback input with a short cable.

A gooseneck mic is nice because it is faster than picking up and holding a 58, and a talkback mic is going to sound cleaner simply because it is probably spoken into from a distance if used properly.

You could use the iPad mic…

Just route it via AirPlay and an apple router.
It’s the one link where a slight lag isn’t too much of a problem.

I still think a nice old vhf radio mic does well

Bob, how do you route the iPad’s mic to Airplay?
