I know nothing about the SQ, so I won’t comment about that. But the CQ has, at the very least, a WiFi stack. The chances of A&H implementing a wifi stack from scratch is slim to none. It also supports a file system, which I also doubt they’ve written from scratch.
I think the software is the weakest point of the CQ series, both on the device and off the device. I have buyer’s remorse, actually, and wish I went a different route. But now that I’m stuck with it, I’m considering the possibilities of software modifications.
