Hi all, I have installed an SQ7 2 years ago with a GX4816 stage box. We are connected CAT cable via slink and GX port. The client recently updated to firmware to 1.6 and upon reset got the error message ‘’ Audio Not Synchronized". At first channels 8 channels on the stage box were not working and recently started working again. The error message remains but all channels locally ad through Slink are working. What does this error message mean? Again the message only popped up after the 1.6 firmware update.
The GX box will need to update it’s firmware to match the firmware version on the SQ. While this shouldn’t take a long period of time, it isn’t instantaneous. I’d give it at least 10 minutes. Prior to the GX4816 updating it’s firmware to match the SQ, I wouldn’t expect it to work correctly.
This sounds like what happened. The stage box wasn’t working correctly right after the firmware update on the SQ, but started working shortly after (after the box updated the firmware automatically). The message may still appear in the log, but I suspect if you clear it out (honestly I don’t even know if that is an option on the SQ), it likely won’t return.
