If the Avantis Director could record all tracks while you’re connected via Ethernet in any port
It would be cool.
It just needs to record the tracks and save them in a file so we can put those wav files in any saw we want without having to download waves since we aren’t actually going to be using waves.
The Director software (or really any control software like the other OEM apps, or third party apps like Mixing Station) is just a remote display of the console combined with remote control of the console’s controls. Even the metering on the software is just a remote display of the meter levels on the console. Long story short, the console doesn’t pass any audio to these apps. Therefore would be impossible to record audio in the Director app because there isn’t any audio to record. To “add” the audio to the Director connection would likely overwhelm and slow the response of the Director software to the point of it being unusable.
If you need to record audio from your console, there are plenty of existing solutions. You just need to pick one.
