when recalling a showfile with bus compressors on my LR and on my IEMs the make up gain is reset. I saved the gain at 0 multiple times but when recalling it the knobs go to +10.
Unfortunately (or rather: fortunately), I cannot reproduce your issue.
- I use bus compressors on mix buses.
- I leave their Make-Up gain set to the default of 0 dB, or set it to -5 dB.
- I save a show with these settings.
- I change the Make-Up gain values.
- I reload the show.
- I get back the 0 dB or -5 dB values that were set prior to saving.
What are you doing differently?
Or, to put it another way:
How do you save a “gain”?
- I set the make up gain to 0
- I save the showfile
- I recall another show
- I recall to my initial showfile
- Make up gain is back to +10
I should add I’m reproducing this issue within SQ Mixpad on iPad.
Ok, I can confirm the issue in MixPad while in offline mode:
It appears that when recall a show, for every BUS Compressor used within it the Make-Up gain will incorrectly set to +11.
this is my first bug forum post. how do we get this fixed? does a representative go through these posts?
A&H says yes, but it is still a user forum.
And however, as you can see, no one has responded to it yet.
But since even direct inquiries often go completely unanswered, you might be better off contacting customer service directly.
