Buzzing on left channel after plugging in the reccomended 1tb toshiba hard drive

Hi guys just a quick one any reccomendations
i have recently just purchased a reccomended a 1tb Toshiba hard drive and when i plug it in there’s a random buzz on the left channel and thenit stops but re appears when then drive reads or writes any ideas??

Is St3 input turned up? Think that sometimes picks up noise when nothing’s plugged into it.

St3 picks up noise specifically from the USB port unless it’s got a jack connected.

Check routing via FX as well…

Yeah, there definitely can be some crosstalk sometimes; until now I have always been able to get rid of it by pulling back all the faders that are not in use and/or unassign the channels in question.
