Change CQ MIDI channel on mac

Trying to set up as interface and was told by A&H support that i need to change the mdi channels to 19/20

But…When i go into the audio-MIDI settings on mac, the options to change the channels are grayed out… any ideas?

I am a bit confused about what you are talking about.
Midi channel or mixer channel ?
CQ uses only midi channel 1 for all the midi messages.

sorry… I was getting midi and usb audio channels confused. I did manage to get USB audio set on mac to play back via 19/20. However, I am still not getting audio from garage band while trying to record new tracks (in multitrack mode on CQ18. If I switch to stereo, I can hear playback, but can’t record.
