Currently test driving a Dlive S5000, very impressed so far.
Is there a preference setting to have channel be automatically selected when the fader is moved.
Our 12yr old Yamaha consoles have this feature, and it really speeds up workflow.

such functions are a matter of taste.
by the way, i always switch off this function at the Yamahas 
We had a DM2000 and a couple PM5Ds with that feature. I ended up turning it off but a couple engineers I work with loved it.
but it makes impossible to ride more than ons channel at a time and to view the settings of the selected channel
it makes me… uhmm let’s say nervous

Always hated that function, turned it off on the DM2000 and DiGiCo.
