I have two SQ’s a 5 and 7.
5 is used for Monitors and the 7 for FOH.
Is there an easy way to connect the two so I can use soft buttons on the 7 to action items on the 5?

to connect them is easy but to control the other SQ within the SQ is not possible at this time
but you can use MixPad
haveing the second cup of coffee today makes me think abouit it again
you can send some MIDI commands over TCP
so it depends on what you want to achiev
Hi, I’d like to control the soft touch buttons via the SQ7 ie be able to use mute groups etc.
the SQ5 is for Monitors but rarely has an operator so this weekend was controlled via mix pad, but then I don’t have mix pad for the sq7
Will this send via TCP over Ethernet via a switch or does it have to be direct connect.
And I’m guessing via this method I can have one desk transmit midi note for mute “mute group 1” and the other desk receive the signal.
I’ll give it a go tomorrow
