Hey guys,
I’m having issues connecting the MixPad app on an iPad to the mixer.
The network cable is connected to the mixer and the router and I see network information like IP address.
The iPad is connected to the same router wirelessly.
When I open the MixPad app, I can connect to DEMO or OTHER and when I select other it asks me for the Name or IP Address…I have tried both options and get an error.
“Connection Failed. Mixer Connection Error”
you are not in the same subnet with your iPad
some routers handle the wired and the wireless part different
they have to be in the same subnet and the traffic should not be blocked by the router
Solved. Didn’t realize the console needed a reboot after changing network settings.

I’m having trouble connecting too but restarting the console didn’t solve it.
I loaded an ip number in the GPIO section , put in the same in the ipad app and it won’t do it.
When I press the network button, nothing happens…
Can’t find where I can change DCHP enable or not…
Can someone give me a good advice about that?

the comtroller screen configures the external controllers
you need to find the network page for the console, there you can change IP and dhcp
