# Connecting Two QU-5 with each other

How do i connect two Qu-5 with each other using the SLink port?

To do this, simply plug a Cat5e cable (or higher) into the two SLink sockets.

You need to set sync on one of them, too.

And physically connecting them together will not automatically pass any audio either. You will need to go to the routing page and route audio to/from the SLink port on each console however you see fit.

Yes - as described: Two SLink sockets + one cable.  
By the way, A&H now recommends Cat6a for this as well.
