I have a problem. I can’t get the Wi-Fi connection to work between my iPad and the mixer. I’ve followed all the instructions from Allen & Heath on how to connect via the built-in Wi-Fi.
I can see and log in to the Wi-Fi, but the Wi-Fi symbol doesn’t appear on my iPad (see image), which means the mixer doesn’t show up in the app.
I’ve tried with different iPads and phones, and the same thing happens on all devices.
However, it works on my MacBook, so it seems to be an issue with the iOS app.
Has anyone encountered the same problem and can help me out?
You’ve got the tick to indicate you’re connected so you should be OK. I’m not sure that iOS will show the WIFI symbol if you’re connected to a network that can’t offer you internet.
Try this -
Go to the multitasking view and swipe closed the CQ Mixpad app.
Restart your iPad.
Once rebooted, connect or make sure you’re connected to the right wireless hotspot.
Then reopen the app - does the CQ appear in the unit list then?
