CQ-18T Screen Trouble

Hi all, first post here and I’ve got an issue. I’ve had the unit for less than 8 months in a static location housed in an AV rack. The display screen is unusable due to vertical bands of colour that have replaced the normal GUI interface. It sometimes ‘fades’ into the control screen, but only momentarily. The unit still works using Wi-Fi and a tablet, but sometimes I need it without tablet. Anyone seen this before, or is this a ‘returns’ issue?
