CQ-20B WIFI not found after start

When I turn my CQ-20B (by plugging it in) its WIFI is not visible always.
I have to unplug => replug and only then it might be available.

Is there any way to file a support ticket for my (registered) device? Didn’t find any on the main website’s support section.

Thanks & Regards,

Stefan

Thanks,

I’m seeing this too. Sometimes the wi-fi doesn’t come up properly, and I need to unplug the power cord and plug it back in. Is there any resolution for this?
(CQ-20B v1.1.1)

I am also experiencing this. Nothing appearing in the ‘Choose Unit’ screen on CQ mixpad.

I have reset the A&H wifi, mixer, I have enabled privacy and security, I am able to connect through wifi but will not show up in mixpad. Just a Blinking blue light……
Anyone found a solution for this?

Same thing over here. I power on the CQ20B, give it a minute or 2, open the iPad check for my SSID in the available networks list and it never shows until I power cycle the CQ20B again. Happens about 95% of the time so much so I almost expect to have to reboot after 1st power on. Pretty poor if you ask me!

This problem is also appearing on my CQ18.

I’ve done quite a bit of trouble shooting. This also happens when your Mixer is connected with a Lan Cable.

This could be due to a “Dry Solder” on the main board (network connection/port).

Usually when this happens, and you leave the Mixer on for about 5-10 minutes and you restart it, then the Network will initialize.

Mine is definitely getting worse though.

I did ask our local distributor about an exchange. I don’t feel comfortable with the idea of having my 2 month old CQ opened up and repaired. It’s going to feel second hand.

Same here with CQ-20B internal 5 GHz Wifi. Running out of time to set things up for a gig and nothing works because the mixer isn’t available.
So far it always comes online, but takes up to 20 minutes and multiple restarts. Extremely stressful.

It’s a real pity considering how reliable the built-in Wifi is as soon as it actually shows up.

This has happened so many times now that I’m considering buying a Behringer rack mixer as backup. That would at least allow the band to play if/when the CQ-20B eventually doesn’t come online at all.
