“Hi, I control a few A&H desks from my own iPad app over MIDI (scenes, mutes, levels with
‘get’ read-back). The CQ MIDI protocol document (V1.6.3) has no EQ parameters. I asked the
same question for SQ here: [LINK]. Is channel EQ available from third-party apps on CQ,
and is there any documentation? Thanks!”

> Hi all, I’m a working musician and the developer of Stemly, a multitrack backing-track player for iPad that I use live. I’ve added control of my SQ-5 to my own build, using the published “SQ MIDI Protocol” (Issue 5), over USB and over MIDI/TCP (port 51325): scene recall, mutes (FX returns etc.) levels (inputs, sends, DCA, FX returns, Aux/Matrix masters) with read-back via the “get” command, so faders on the iPad follow the desk and never jump soft key triggering (tap tempo) What I cannot fin…

Yes all EQ parameters are available via TCP.
I understand that you want to implement it inside your Stemly app.

To read TCP frame, I use Wireshark on a PC where the CQ is connected and I run CQMixpad app.
Set Wireshark to read your ethernet connection with the CQ and add this filter:

`tcp.len >= 8 && tcp.len <= 18`

Then move the control on the CQMixpad app to get the TCP frame out.
Test them with PacketSender (app for PC).
