After trying with replacement cable and realising the intermittent power is still happening I have seen it’s the dc input jack failing. I would really appreciate if anyone’s had experience in resoldering this themselves or I should contact the repair service.
Also, I already spent quite some money in the replacement cable. Am I expected to pay for a professional repair here in Ireland? The only official service center is in Northern Ireland, only getting the mixer in and out will be a bulky cost, not to talk about the repair. If I were to do it myself or someone experienced in my city (Cork), where do I find the part?

Access is not too difficult, remove the 2 screws on the back (close to the DC IN), remove the bottom plate (take care of the fan cable) and then you have access to the soldered DC socket.
For the part itself, I have no info (size).
You could try one of the PA hire companies in your area and see if they would be willing to do a repair for you as a nixxer.
A quick Google and a company called Soundtrax, based in Ballycurreen might be an option. They do mention Service/Maintenance on their site, though I am not sure if that is just for their own equipment that they have installed.
No harm in asking regardless, as they could point you in the right direction if they are unable to do it themselves.
Or there is someone like Murt Whelan Sound who is based in Limerick, which might also be a little too far away, but he would almost certainly know people nearer you that could do repairs too.
Hi Frenchie & Shadowsound, greatly appreciate your answers. You wouldn’t believe it but the mixer is already fixed!
I firstly called all the obvious audio/ av companies in cork, and as you mentioned none of them were keen unless it was the equipment they had sold themselves.
I was reading Gemini for a while pinpointing that most definitely it would be re-soldering the input power jack, which led me to start asking IT specialist who would know deeply how to fiddle with PCBs. After a couple calls, I was sent to a place in town called IToutlet. I got in the shop crossing my fingers for them to take a mixer, just to say so Frenchies answer with a picture so I came and showed the picture to the man. He went mad on me and said “I don’t believe the Internet it is full of crap. Nobody ever knows anything just leave it with me! We know what we’re doing!”
On the same day (yesterday) he handed me the mixer effectively having taken out the tiny black module of the input power jack and replaced it with another one. He said he has thousands of them in store so good news for everybody. This is a common size and common diameter centre positive pin!

Delighted to hear you got yourself sorted.
Not sure why I didn’t think of suggesting regular computer repair shops and the like. After all it is a simple fix as you said for them.
And on a side note, Cork will never be the real capital! Always the Dubs
