I usually use the Library to find some presets für my Setup.
But in most cases I have to adjust the EQ.
So I click the dopdown to convert from quick to complete.
Last gig I was in hurry and the tipping on the menue button “convert”. It did noch work. Touched twice, three times …
Than without any reason one time it worked.
next chanel same problem.
I cheked all the oter Meunue-buttons. No issues.
I really was in deep trouble and extremly nervous, but managed it.
Back at home I resetted the Mixer. But the problem remained.
If you’re still able to reproduce this please could you send a video to us (and maybe a copy of your show) by submitting a ticket through support.allen-heath.com.
This will help us to investigate, as although I’ve not heard of it happening before, we’ll never rule out that they could be a weird bug there.
Tried both. Did not work.
Video was to big for the Mail (28 MB), the support ticket form did not take my Mail adress.
I send the CQ back to the supplier.
If you haven’t already returned the unit to be checked, you could use something like dropbox, wetransfer or share a link if you have any cloud storage for a file of that size.
Otherwise, I hope you manage to get it sorted quickly and we will hear from the distributor for you region if a problem is found.
I’m testing out a cq18t and having the exact same problem with the convert button. Not sure if it’s a bug or a problem with the unit. How did this get solved? I’d like to know if it can be fixed before purchasing.
