Setup for a band over the weekend:
8 inputs used, various mics, all gained nicely, nothing redlining, headroom good, FOH sounding great. Drums, bass, gtr, vox, small venue.
5 outputs used for monitors/wired iems - all clipping when playing normally.
headphone PAFL listening to aux outs, all channels clipping similarly. Nothing in the red.
Not much processing going on any channels, light compression on vocals. Aux levels about unity on the fader.
Band was taking out their IEMs to manage. Singer reported he couldnt hear anything at one point and listening to his mix I could hear why.
Ideas? I’m new to this mixer.
