Crestron integration with mixer

My brother owns an audio video store and a client wants to use a single Crestron remote to control not only lights and shades etc. but also fader levels on a several channels of a mixer (I’m pushing him to A+H if possible) that will be stashed in a closet.

Is Dante the answer? I’m new to it but it seems like it is a way to enable Crestron control of a mixer.

If so, I’d really appreciate a few sentances of what this setup would entail - Dante virtual soundcard? Do you need a Dante-equipped mixer? etc. Client likely won’t want to touch the mixer but maybe a Qu-5D would be the ticket. I’d think a CQ-20B would meet the clients I/O needs but how to use it with Dante?

Is there another way that an end-user with a Crestron control unit can control fader levels on a mixing board?

Thanks you very much for any advice

No, That is something else.

TCP/IP MIDI Messages.

Have you looked at A&H AHM as a solution? That in combination with Custom Control and /or wall controllers is a great solution for an installation.
