Just Purchased an Avantis console and found i am on a 6 month waiting list for the Dante Card of anysize. Why is this such a long wait?

This is mostly due to the current worldwide component shortage issues (2020–2023 global chip shortage - Wikipedia), compounded with shipping delays (affecting raw materials and components along with the finished product) plus a huge surge in demand for our products.
We are doing everything we can to produce as much as we can, but this has been going on for a while now with back-orders every month that unfortunately push the ETA for anyone ordering today further out to the future.
Your best source of information is your local distributor, as they will be kept informed of any news from our end and are also the only ones aware of their back orders.
