Am trying to do 64 channels out via Dante into Reaper to be able to do virtual soundcheck etc.

In order to get all the channels going out of Dante pre fader/eq/compression/processing, do I just have to press ‘Record Send’ in the I/O virtual soundcheck tab?

I did a record last night but when routing back into the surface it sounds as if everything was being processed twice when I hadn’t pressed the ‘Record Send’ button.

Hi Dylan,

The Record Send will patch the audio of the channels straight after the preamp (pre digital trim).
When Record Send is NOT active, the Dante card will send whatever is patched to it in the I/O screen e.g. the channel Direct Outs (which follow the Direct Out source option and could well be post processing depending on your settings).
