CQ series has not clock.
Stop havin frenetic opinion on everything, and see .DAT file… have date…
Well it is hardly a frenetic oppinion he just claims.
The CQ series, just like the SQ series has no hardware RTC (real time Clock) inside the console, so it has no way to calculate and know the time.
It would require all consoles to be send back to the factory, and the entire mainboard be swapped, and prior to that they would first have to plan out and build a new mainboard.
OK, try to help, if you have only date, it is better than nothing ?
By the way, how the CQ18 calculate date in SHOW.DAT ?
Doesn’t it end up with a nonsense date, like Jan 1, 1980?
I wish we had that information too.

No, information is “date” in the file
If date is possible, I don’t understant why “time” would not ?
To my testing, show.DAT contain what you input for the name of your saved show in the CQ.
Are you sure you haven’t’ put that “2025 02 01” at some stage ?

What is the filesystem date for that SHOW.DAT file? You can see that with “show properties” or detailed view on Windows, probably something similar on Apple.
