DB level on scribble strips

Hi all it would be a great update to see the Db level in a scribble strip when moving faders.

Iā€™ll be honest, no! The fader is where itā€™s at because it sounds right. Iā€™d rather not lose any space on the scribble strip to this.

Iā€™d like this. Itā€™s useful when setting up post-fade sends to exactly 0dB for example, and it doesnā€™t have to take up any space if it only shows the fader level as itā€™s being moved, as on GLD.

I made a flavor of this request for exactly this reason. My request was to be able to program a soft key to set the current track selection to 0 for USB returns.

@chris93 - Hold the ā€˜Resetā€™ key and push the fader toward -inf or 0dB to ā€˜jumpā€™ to those points

Well I didnā€™t know that! Thanks Keith. Thought the levels showing, so I can set everything to -6dB or whatever, would still be good.

Now, is there also a quick way to centre the pan?

+1 for db levels on the scribble strips.

I love the ā€œfader jump to 0db or -infā€ ability (I use it all the time), but levels on the scribble strips would be very useful.

agree!

another idea: Display it on the meters screen

Thanks @KeithJ A&H, for this shortcut.

+1 ABSOLUTELY!!!

The soft rotaries do it, canā€™t be that hard to implement it to the faders, right?

has there been any movement on this?

+1 for db levels on the scribble strips.

But please not as a permanent state, but only as an option that can be activated when needed!
