Am I misunderstanding the concept of DCA thinking they can be routed to USB like the groups do? If not is this at all possible on the QU24? I can for the life of me figure it out.
Same question for the FX sends, how can they be routed to USB?

A DCA is just a remote control of whatever faders you’ve assigned to it. There is nothing to route. It’s just a level but no sound.
Effects sends are “hard-wired” to the effects units, on Qu (and I believe most other digital desks) they are not available as an output from the desk.
Thx Mark, that’s what I thought…A shame FXs returns cannot be sent to USB…maybe a future firmware update from Allen&Heath 
FX returns can be sent to USB. You’ll probably need to repatch them in the I/O routing screen, as they’re not the default setting.
