Having the De-Esser in 1.4 as a purchasable module is great, however, only being able to use it in the Fx Rack is pretty limiting. It would be great to have a DEEP plugin version that could be inserted on directly on channels. Any chance this could happen in an upcoming release?
What would it replace in the signal chain, the compressor?

+1 but cant replace anything, probably in a perfect world would get its own half of the screen on the insert tab. A lot of space in there.
Dlive and gld have also de-esser only as fx, i don’t think it will come as deep plug-in.

My ancient LS-9 had your choice of things for each channel in its two dyn slots. De-esser, gate, comp, ducker, expander, compander.
