Default I/O Mapping?

Two questions - Is there a ‘default’ mapping for USB/SQ-Drive? I’m recording 32 tracks, and except for the default ‘Left to 1 Right to 2’, the other tracks recorded the correct channels without any assignments in the I/O mapping matrix. Second question - does the Source Assignment for the ME S-Link Output come from the Direct out setting in the I/O Patch IP Direct outputs, or is there a different source (post pre-amp, post HPF, post gate, etc) for that patch that is perhaps ‘hidden’?

P.S. Is there a file map for the ME-1 Preset Files?

As for question 1:
I recently learnt that it is possible to save your I/O mappings in a library preset on the SQ. I’m not sure that I correctly understood your question: Is it that you are wondering why channes got recorded on the SQ drive without being patched to USB? Did you check the tie lines section?
