Difference between T"consoles and "non T" consoles

Forgive me but I am not seeing it…what is the advantage of one over the other and are they interchangeable…simple a preference.

For example the iLive-80 and iLive T-80.

Thanks

i live are modular - one can exchange in ando output modules from this range:

Other advantages of the modular surfaces vs. fixed format include a backup power supply input, two additional USB ports under the armrest, a PL-Anet port, choice of MixRack to Surface link format thanks to RAB-2 flexibility, and rugged still construction.

Also, with the exception of the iLive-80, all iLive modular surfaces come with a touring flight case as standard.

Despite these hardware differences, all surfaces share the same software, they are all compatible with any iDR MixRack.
