this is by design
it’s not a shortcut to the dimmer it’s a shortcut to full brightness as you mentioned
and it works the same on dLive

if this gets changed it will not do the trick in bright environments…

btw. on dLive you can store the dimmer values in a scene,
maybe this works for the Avantis as well

Thanks, I’ll try the scene idea.
By definition, it is a dimmer shortcut, as it opens the window upon pressing it. The full brightness is an added function of said shortcut, at least from a programmer’s perspective.
In summary, it would be nice to at least have a toggle to tell it whether or not you want the screens at full brightness upon pressing the button. I don’t think that’s too much to ask.

I know what you mean, but keep in mind the reason for this function is
to get a bright and working screen after a night job… :wink:
