Distortion on USB input regardless of signal level

Hello,

Just want to preface by saying that I am a new user as far as this console goes.
Here is my issue:
I’ve connected via USB-B to my SQ5 from my M1 Macbook Pro. I just want to get music running from Tidal on my MacBook over to the console to go out to the Main L/R. I’m patched with USB inputs 1 and 2 on USB L/R. USB then goes straight out the the mains. Problem is, no matter what I set the trim to, I’m getting an immense amount of distortion on my speakers (currently JBL LSR305s). I’ve tried all combinations of staging trim and the gain control on the speakers themselves. No matter what I do it still ends in noticeable distortion. No meters are peaking, so what could be causing this?

Thanks.

Also should mention that I just picked up this mixer today. When I route audio out via my DAW I still face this distortion.

Solved my own issue. Speakers have a dip switch and were flipped to the incorrect input sensitivity.
