dLive Networking Question

Greetings! Just getting up and running with our new dLive system. I do have one question about control networking, here’s my setup:

S7000 - FoH
DM64 - Racked in Server Room
SQ7 - On Stage for Monitors
FoH Mac - Connected to the S7000 via waves card, with an ethernet bridge from the console network port.

The Mac at FoH is for S7000 console control via Director. I would like to be able to control the SQ7 from this Mac as well via MixPad. My question is how can I make this connection?

The S7000 is connected directly to the DM64 via GigaAce. The SQ7 currently connects to the DM64 via a GigaAce card. Can I use this GigaAce network from FoH for SQ7 console control in this setup?

If you need any additional info please let me know!

Thanks,
Jeff

Hi!
You need a gigabit network switch…

you need to link the mixrack control network with the SQ control network

You need a gigabit network switch…

no… since there is one in the mixrack already

For the s-link card in the sq there is a linking option. The giga-ace card has a link switch. I can try tomorrow if this works.

The sq doesn’t bridge the network data over slink. So from dlive your have to run separate network and slink to the dlive.
