dLive USB Play noise after track

I‘ve noticed a loud noise (pink noiseish…) when i playback a track through the usb playback port on my dLive surface. Is there a specific file format needed? I formatted the drive through the dlive first.
Any ideas?

You have to delete metadata from wav file. Some DAWs (like Pro Tools for example) export WAV in BWF format which contains metadata.

To Confirm - playback works now - without the BWF information! Thanks for your help!

Hi there - curious how you removed the BWF information from the WAV files. Protools won’t do this, so would have to be done another way!

Have tried my usual go to editor FF Works, but then the console deems the WAV file ‘invalid’.

Thanks for this reply! Having the same issue. I’m also unable to get the tracks to work in their respective order. Tried labeling 01, Song 02, Song and 1 Song, 2 Song, but it seems that it just randomises it. Any ideas? Would this be the metadata too?
