# dLive with AR or AB stageboxes

Just ordered a DM0, which I will use with two DX168s, mostly for corporate events. However, I need to build a rack with a permanently wired analog split for use with a band I work with on occasion, so I was hoping to not have to spend DX or GX kind of money on this rack. Is it correct that the older AB or AR series will **not** work with dLive at all?

That is correct. Those older boxes only run at 48k and have no reclocking ability built into them. The DLive expects to see 96k I/O, so the older boxes are incompatible.

Bummer! Are cool option would be a card to allows both the AB and AR series boxes, but I get it… 48 vs 96.
