DYN 8 IPad Control

I love the addition of the DYN 8 plugins to each channel. I work with vocalists of various confidence levels, and having the ability to use a multi band compressor to keep the mids under control is a god sent.

However,

It’s hard to use them, because in my situation and room, I find myself mixing from an iPad 80% of the time. And having to run back to the board to adjust simple parameters on what becomes a pretty crucial element of DSP is just a headache.

I’m wondering what the thought process behind this exclusion is and if there is any chance it could be changed.

It’s not an official A&H app, but I suggest that you look at the app Mixing Station. Unlike the A&H apps, it provides access to just about every function/feature of the DLive system including the Dyn8 instances. It’s also available on multiple platforms - iOS, Android, Windows, etc.
