Hi guys,
I would like some advice on how to use the Dynamic EQ and Multiband4 Compressor for multiple vocal channels on the SQ-6. I am already using the INSERT on the vocal channels for external hardware processing via the MADI I/O card, so inserts is not an option for those built in FXs.
Should I use FX send/return for multiple vocal channels (I have 5) to a single FX rack with DynEQ on it, and another FX rack with Multiband Comp?
Should I use a Group ? ie: add my vocal channels to a Vox group, then use Insert on that group to add DynEQ ? then send Vox group to Mains ? that would only allow me one FX insert and I would like to use both the dynamic EQ and the dynamic comp for at least my 2 main lead singers.
Or, should I consider something else like a waves I/O card with soundgrid server ?
