Editor 1.9 on MAcbook

Hey Guys.

I got problems running the editor 1.9 on my macbook. The application does not start. I already thought about Java and updated it, without success.

OSX 1.07.5 and Java SE6 and 7 are installed. If anybody has the same problems and a solution, please help me.

Best regards

JOhannes

Hi Johannes,

Could you get a terminal window open and type:

java -version

I’m running 10.7.5 on Java 1.6.0_37 and its OK for me.

Could you contact tech support, and include any output generated by performing the following commands:

cd /Applications/iLive Editor 1.90.app/Contents/Resources/Java

java -jar -Xmx580M ./iLive_Editor.jar

When entering the paths, try typing a little, then hit the tab key - the autocomplete speeds things up !

Cheers

Andy

thank you. i did what you said. i also want to tell the terminal issues to the forum:

When i start it with the terminal by typing this:

"cd /Applications/iLive Editor 1.90.app/Contents/Resources/Java

java -jar -Xmx580M ./iLive_Editor.jar"

the software starts, but it doesn’t load to 100 percent.

terminal says:

Johanness-MacBook-Pro-2:~ johannesdressel$ cd /Applications/iLive Editor 1.90.app/Contents/Resources/Java

Johanness-MacBook-Pro-2:Java johannesdressel$ java -jar -Xmx580M ./iLive_Editor.jar
