Just received my CQ20b - getting psyched over the size of this thing. Thank you very much.
Would it be possible in a future firmware update to get the “Alt out” and the Headphones out to be assigned as separate outputs equal to outputs 1-6?
That would up the game quite a bit. My 5-piece band would be able to have stereo-in-ear monitoring with unique mixes = yes please

Glad to hear you’re loving your new CQ
The mixer channel count is governed by the core rather than the I/O you have connected to that core and the LR + 6 mono / 3 stereo outputs is what the CQ core was built for.
So no I’m afraid it’s not possible to add more mix summing/routing/processing with a firmware update, it would require different hardware.
For more mixes and a higher channel count you would be looking at a Qu or SQ.
