Good day,
I just found out that inputs cannot be unassigned from the main bus. How on earth is this not an option? Please add this feature but honestly this shouldn’t even be a feature add but a standard concept.

Hi,
the current operating concept of the CQ Mixer does not provide for free patching of the inputs and outputs.
If you are used to this from other consoles, it may seem strange.
On the other hand, it is one less source of error for beginners and occasional users; Input 1 is always connected to Fader 1 and this is always routed to Main. The same applies to the other channels.
For me personally, this is fine due to the manageable number of channels and because there is unfortunately no expansion option on the CQs using Dante, SLink or similar.

Bassman74 is right. It is a “entry level” system designed for inexperienced users. 98% of the time, users are going to want to send every input to the main L/R. Obviously there are some cases where you might have an input (like a audience mic) that you only want to go to the monitors and not the Main L/R. You can simply turn the input fader down on these channels (assuming you are using pre-fader sends).
Couldn’t disagree more! This is a simple feature that even some of the most basic analog consoles have! This console was NOT designed to be a basic needs desk proven by adding advanced features like mute groups and VCAs.
Mute groups, DCA (not VCA) and a lots of new features that was just release less that 24 hours are the result of A&H listening to their customers.
A simple “thank you” to open your post would have been appropriate.
Developers, people like you and me are working behind to try to achieve this goal.
We all here try to build a better CQ, by adding our request in a quiet and comprehensive way, but certainly not the way you (and some others) are doing here, also with exclamation mark and angry bolt characters.
PreDELAY. PLIS. PRE-DELAY.
I take it you use mix 1 through 6 post fader, otherwise it would not be an issue being unable to unpatch inputs, when there are no groups. I knew that was part of the design when I first looked at the block diagram, about 2 hours before I placed my order.
