# Feature Request: FX Mute assignable to SoftKeys

Hi,

Another small feature request for the CQ that I came across while working on my live setup. It would be really useful if the FX Mute buttons could be assigned to the SoftKeys. The Mute function is already available on the FX screen, but as far as I can see there’s currently no way to assign it to a physical SoftKey.

For live performance this would be very useful. For example, I sometimes send individual instruments to a CQ channel specifically to use the internal reverb or delay. Being able to instantly mute the FX with a SoftKey would make it much easier to cut a long reverb/delay for a drop or transition without having to navigate to the FX screen.

Seems like a small addition since the Mute function already exists, but it would make the FX much more playable live. Thanks!
