Firmware download missing zip on mac

I have editor 1.83 on a MacBook Pro.

I have a iDR16 stage rack running 1.81

I am trying to update the stage rack iDR16 to 1.83 with editor. No Surface.

My issue is that I can not seem to find the zip file when I down load the firmware file from the website. All I get is a folder that has no zip file inside. The folder is called “Firmware_V1” which has some sub folders and what not but no zip. I do not have a console so I am using editor to update the firmware.

Any suggestions?

Hi Paul

If you are using the Safari browser, you may find it un-zips the Firmware upon download. If so, you need to click on Safari Preferences, select the General tab, and un-tick ‘Open “safe” files after downloading’. Then download the file again. The file must remain zipped for iLive Editor firmware update to work.
