fx question

Hi everyone. i am brand new to this so bear with me. I just got an SQ5 for our church and i have it at home. I am going through it trying to familiarize myself. there is one thing with the fx i cannot figure out. The fx are basically fx1 reverb. fx2 reverb. fx 3 delay and fx 4 a doubler. everything is fine exept when i bring up fx3 delay, it gives me a delay but the fx1 reverb also comes through. It doesnt happen with any other fx. If i turn down the fxsend for fx1, then when i bring up the delay it is fine. i have gone through everything and cannot figure out why this is happening. Like i said, ive only had the mixer for less than a week so excuse the question if its some obvious thing staring me right in the face.

Check that you do not have any FX sends turned up on any of the FX return channels.

As Mike suggested, this is a routing problem. Somewhere you have the reverb FX routed into the delay. It might be on the delay “send” or the “return”. It can be easy to accidentally route audio incorrectly the way A&H uses the “mix” button, especially for a person that isn’t familiar with the console.
