Fx routing on monitor page - Fx unit and OP 1-8

Hello,

On the monitor page there is possible to set FX routing as FX unit (number 1-8) and under it OP (number 1-8).
What are the numbers for and what OP means?
On ME-1 with setting for example FX unit 1 and OP 1 i cant see the difference between FX unit 1 and OP 3.

In the manual (https://www.allen-heath.com/media/GLD-Touch-Screen-Reference-V1.5_1.pdf), in the section 6 I/O Screen, 6.6 Monitor Outputs page there is nothing about the options of FX Units and OP.
In the help in the GLD screen or editor there is nothing more about it.

Is there any more comprehensive manual about GLD 80?

that means you can send the FX Unit Output to the ME-1 and the musicians can have a dedicated FX in the monitors

I had this very same Question but I am still unsure as to what exactly is being sent to that monitor channel. In other words If I select FX UNIT 8 OP8 is that the return from FX 8 or is it just a send to the Aviom (Monitor Channel) for all the Aviom channels?

It is just the return of FX8 assigned to whatever channel you choose.
Some people like a dryer signal they can turn down the FX.
