Needed a lighter smaller travelling solution for my SQ6.
As i don’t fly with it i and pack it myself in my van i took the risk of a soft case.
After many gigs the case has worked well and the mixer has zero damage.
As i am always packing it myself it never has other items on top of it.
The mixer might survive unscathed with this Gator case put in a aircraft hold but i wouldn’t do it. The protection over the controls/screen of the mixer is very good, but not hard case good.
The case overall is very well padded. Much more padding than the thin layers in hard cases. So IF you know you have control of the mixers travelling conditions, for light handling and bumps this case offers great protection. Its made very well.
