I think it would be better if the library of gates respected the channel’s in/out state when it’s recalled. It’s problematic recalling a gate from the library and not knowing whether it’s going to abruptly change whether the gate is enabled or disabled.

In general the library should have an option to behave like the iLive where changing models of dynamics only changes the model, not a library recall which then retains all settings so you can do it live in the fly and get roughly similar levels of gate/compression.
