Gate or Compressor Sidechain

I have noticed that you can link dynamics when linking channels and it has “side chain” beside it.

Will the Gate and Compressor be updated to include a side chain feature set?

And if so, would it be independent of the channel EQ? For example something like the waves gate, where you can select a single frequency in the gate/compressor and the Q in the actual dynamics pages?

Would love to have a sidechain function on the compressors with the option of keying the sidechain from a effect rack. Their you could either choose to key it from a send or straight from a channel…

any feature that allows us to duck channels (even just the stereo ones) would be great imo
