First of, the ME’s are fantastic… One studio drummer said it is the best IEM mix he has ever had.

However, still a few teething issues being worked with support.

This one is sort of a feature request, so I’ll post here.

Issue is that there is no ‘Talkback’ selection on the Monitor patching.

Option 1: Patch the DirectOut from the channel being used for talkback.

Issue, the Talkback switch does not control the mic and it is always on…

Option 2: Create a mono Aux, turn all channels etc off on the Aux, and select talkback to this Aux. Now patch this Aux to Talkback to the ME’s in the IO tab.

{This is how I’m currently running it}

Issue – Not real user friendly to setup / using a bus…

Request:

Can we have another selectbox on the talkback tab as default, and talkback as a source option on the Monitor IO screen. Yes, I know this in effect uses a bus, but it would be a lot more eloquent.

You could get a talkback mic with a on/off switch…

I have a cable with a switch.

Monitor I/O as a talkback option would be good. If you want a talkback switch while using a channel direct out set the direct out post mute and assign the channel mute to a softkey, this is now your talkback button. [:smiley: ]

Having the button the desk work is a much better option, else you have to use the switch on the MIC +the talkback button to get the talkback to all the feeds you are using.

Thus the subject - feature request…
